Hello Immigration help,
I need some advice. My son is autistic and I wonder if this renders him inadmissable to the USA. I am hoping to marry my US citizen fiance at christmas and I obviously want my 8 year old son to accompany me. Please advise.

Dear Tammi:

Autism is not a ground of inadmissibility. The main thing you have to worry about is that your future husband has sufficient income to be able to show the consul that he can support you and your child. Good luck.

My Fiance has filed I-129F, I wanted to know how much time will it take to process my case? Espacialy from Islamabad Embassay, Pakistan? Do I need any special clearance from FBI as I am from Pakistan? Please help. As there is no site available regarding K-1 from Pakistan.

its me again.
I am currently in the throws of the K1 visa application..so far we have just filed the I-129f petition through a lawyer with the Vermont service centre.I am the foreign national..here in Pakistan. The lawyer said that the processing time will be one month or so and I will get the Visa in a month. Is it true??? as I was reading on the net that normally it takes 4 to 6 months. Please help. One more question is how much time it will take from Islamabad (Pakistan) after the approval of petition?

Thanks
