Application Help Needed

These may seem like silly questions, but I need to ask:

1. Why are there 3 pages for the Employment Authorization document? They don't seem to be carbon copies, so do I need to fill them all out, or just one? Also do I need to send in the whole booklet, or just tear out a single, filled in page?

2. All of the forms ask for my I-94 number. I have an I-94W, Departure Record. Is this the same thing, and do I use the 'Departure Number' is has on it?

Like I said, silly questions, but I just need clarification. I am very nervous about the whole process and just want to get it right.

Thankyou so much !!

Hi Annonymous,

You are correct in both instances. You only need to send one page of the form for employment authorization. All other pages are extra.

You should use your I-94W departure number. This is your I-94 number they ask for.

I am not an immigration attorney, but from my experience these are the requirements.

Hi,
Here is my situation. My uncle filed pettition for my mother 14 years ago for Immigration to U.S..A. (for green card). Now after 14 year she got her papers asking her to submit affidavit of Support(I-864). I myself am Permenant resident and systems engineer. My aunt is a U.S. citizen and she is a doctor. We both filed affidavit of support for my parent. but American Embassy rejected it by saying that they need Affidavit of Support from "Original pettitionar" i.e. my uncle. My uncle is refusing to file it due to reasons of his own.
My question is that the purpose of Affidavit of support is to ensure U.S. Government that my parent will not goto welfare if anything goes wrong. Which myself and my aunt are giving that assurance, so is there a way to convince U.S. embassy on that argument?? Also is there any law/procedure through which we can use mine or my aunts Affidavit of support in my parents case?
My parents have waited 14 years for this opportunity and now they are desperate to come over here and live with me. Please help me.

Thanks!!

Hello there, i am an f1 student in a community college in michigan detroit.I i wish to join the U S army which i have already made known my intentions to the recruiting officer assigned to the college which he adviced me to file for an i551 green card which i understand to be a permanent residence status. He asured me that i need not worry about it being granted but a notification that i had filed for it is needed.I need to know if i can file for it on my own without any assistance from a family member,if possible how viable is his claim, is an i551 form known as another name or form, lastly i need to know if i am not jeopardising my status or in any danger in anyway.your reply is very much needed and appreciated thanks.

Dear Immigration Links,

I intend a clarification from you. The President has recently signed a bill named "CHILED STATUS PROTECTION ACT". Apparently it seems that this bill is for the benefits of childern of US Citizens. I intend to know that childern of permanent residents have some benefits from this bill.

Thanks
