Please can someone help??

I am trying to put together my Affidavit of Support for my husband. I cannot seem to get a straight answer to a question about Tax Returns. All of the information I have states that summaries of my Tax returns are acceptable. The State Department has told me that "A computer generated summary prepared by IRS and sent directly to post by IRS is acceptable."

However, I cannot get anyone (Embassy, IRS, State Department) to tell me how I can obtain these summaries and have them sent to the Embassy.

I feel like I'm going around in circles with this one. Please help me.

You will need to fill out IRS form 4506. You can obtain this form from any IRS office or on our web site. Go to Immigration Research and click on "Other US Government Agency Web Sites". Then scroll down to IRS forms.

Then just follow the instructions on the form. Make sure you correctly fill in question #5. The IRS office will be glad to give you any other information that you may need. Good luck.
