Hi
i am married to a US citizen, our marriage is real and nothing else involved except we love eachother. i had been illegal for couple of years, now i work as an engineer. our interview is in next few months, my wife's family does not(except her one sister) know about the marriage they think we are just engaged the reason is that, that my wife's daughter and parents are not that happy with our relationship. so when we got married i had my friends and her sister suppose to come but she could not make it. my questions are the followings
we dont have her relatives in the wedding pic so can this go against me?
i lived illegally for years ?
wat could be the worst situation(application denial?)
wat can we do about it?
if they deny wat is the procedure?
at the end let me say that , we have known eacother for 3 yrs and we really are married and love eacother no other motive.

Hi we have a marriage petition in San Francisco. We are planning to move houses soon. Should we inform INS of our new address or should we just forward our mail? I heard when you change your address with the INS it will take longer for the interview. WE also have an immigration attorney working on our case. Due to this, do all correspondences go to our lawyer's office?
if so, we don't have to notify them of the change , right?

Dear Daniel:

There is much more to a valid marriage than just in-laws in your wedding photos. As long as you have other good evidence that yours is a bona fide marriage, you should have no problem.

If INS asks about the in-laws, just tell them the truth. Also, the fact that you are illegal will not affect your case if yours is a good marriage.

Since there is nothing in your e-mail to indicate that your marriage is not genuine, you should not worry about a denial of the case. Good luck.

Dear Terry:

We would suggest that you do the following:

1. Send a certified letter to INS notifying them of your change of address; 2. Do a change of address with the post office.

This should not delay your case. On the other hand, you are protected in case INS sends the notice to your old address, and does not send a copy to your attorney. Good luck.

I was searching through Immigration services to update my knowledge about the U.S. Immigration Services. But so far no changes, I am still hopeless. I have been living in the United States since I was 12 years old,I was in the process of acquiring my Student Visa and September 11th happened. I got scared of applying for my Student Visa and be rejected. I am Brazilian but American at heart. I was practically raised here and i don't picture myself back in Brazil. I am illegal here at the moment and tired of not being able to find a job. Sometimes I can't sleep at night thinking that I have no way out and scared oof being deported even worse go to jail with criminals when all I am trying to do is become legal in this country. Is there a law for someone that has been raised here and is Illegal now? My sister has a Green Card but she cannot apply for me because she is not a U.S. Citizen. I am almost 20 years old now and I don't know what I am going to do with my life, I don't want to go back to Brazil, I wanna stay here, all my friends are here. My sister has raised me since I was 11 years old but she never adopted me or has a legal paper stating so. Please help me I am tired of not being able to sleep.I am thinking of marrying to a woman, but it will be a fake marriage, what questions does the INS usually ask? Is it hard to fake a 2 year marriage? If the person has Green Card do I still get my papers?
