My wife is currently waiting for processing of her I-485 ( I-30) in Houston, Texas. The waiting time is over 3 years.
We are thinking about moving to Honolulu. Can you tell us what the processing time is in Honolulu? As a transferred case do we go to the end of the line there ?
Is it dangerous to transfer , ie length of time for files to get moved = loss of files, etc.

Processing time in Honolulu for an adjustment of status is approximately 110-135 days.

We don't know whether you would go to the end of the line, but since the line is not very long, it should not be too much of a problem.

Transferring files from one INS office to another can always pose problems. If you are on top of the office in Houston, to make sure that the file is sent, then there should be no major problems. Good luck.
