Do you know what the waiting times are for adjustment of status for Las Vegas? I am planning to file the I-130 for my husband, and then he is also applying for adjustments of status I-485 (I think that is the number) and I was just wondering what the wait times were for here, and if he can get a work permit right away. Also how do I find out what our state requires us to send in with my petition and his adjustment of status, because I was told some states don't require the affidavit of support until the final interview.

Currently it is taking about 1 1/2 years for adjustment applications to be processed in Las Vegas. Work authorizations are issued within 90 days of filing.

You should contact the local INS office in Las Vegas to see if they require the filing of a complete affidavit of support at the time of filing the adjustment application, as procedures are constantly changing from office to office. Good luck.
