Hello All,
I got my Greencard in 1996 through family based sposporship. I worked in US for about a month and went back to India for 2 yrs on a re-entry permit. I entered US in 1998 and again went back to India obtaining second re-entry permit. I had to do this since i was studying Engineering in India and wanted to continue it.
Since the last six months i have been Working in US as a software professional. But, now i want to go back to India for one more year. I do have intentions to Stay live in US as permanent resident though.
My question is ,will the INS give me re-entry permit for a third time. What can i do to show the INS that i really have intentions of staying in US , but want a re-entry permit again.

Any comments and advices are welcome.

You can obtain another re-entry permit as long as you have not been outside the US for more than 4 of the last 5 years. You do not need to attach anything special to the application. You may wish to mention that you need the permit in order to complete your studies, at which time you will take up employment in the United States. Good luck.

I had a reentry permit that was expired on May 2003. I went back to the US last March 2003 and applied for another reentry permit. The INS sent a letter confirming that they had already received my application. Im already here in the Philippines to continue my studies for another two (2) years. My question is should i go back to the US this year or should i wait for my reentry permit to arrive? I have my parents in the states who also is waiting for my permit. We all don't know my status yet. Please answer me. thanks.

I REALLY NEED SOME ADVICE
I CAME IN THE USA IN1998 WITH TOURIST VISA WICH EXPIRES IN 98 ALSO AND I GOT MARRIED WITH US CITIZEN IN 2003 APR WE HAVE 2KIDS BOTH BORN HERE I FILLED FOR I485 AND I HAVE AUTORIZATION FOR PAROLE OF AN ALIEN INTO THE USA
I REALLY NEED TO GO IN ROMANIA FOR 2 WEEKS PLEASE TELL ME I WIILL EVER GET INTO THE USA BACK?
