Hi,
Dear Vito:
One month ago I got a speeding ticket for what I went to the traffic school to have it cleared from my DMV record.
Now I got my oath ceremny letter and on the back of the letter there are 7 questions.
One of them is: Have you knowingly commited any crime or offense for which you have not arested or have you been arested,cited,charged,convicted,fined orimprisoned for breaking any law or ordinance ,including traffic violations?
Kinnda blurry question..SHould I answer YES or NO to this question?
I was driving on the freeway 75mph and the speed limit was 65 mph..I was stopped and handed a citation . I already paid the fine and I went to traffic school for it to have my DMV record kept clean. No jail time, no conviction , just a simple ticket.

If the letter requires you to disclose traffic violations, then you should do so. However, this offense will not prevent you from being naturalized. You can take a copy of the ticket and court disposition with you just in case. Good luck.
