Is everybody, who is being sponsored for Labor Certification before 4/30/01 supposed to pay $ 1000

Dear Anonymous:

If at the time that you file for adjustment of status that is based on an approved labor certification, and you are out of status in the US and not eligible for adjustment as an immediate relative of a US citizen, then you must pay the $1000.00 penalty fee. Good luck.

Dear Anonymous:

It depends on where you filed your case, and whether you filed under regular processing or RIR processing.

Please go to our Home page and click on Labor Certification Processing Times to get an idea of how long it will take. Good luck.
