I AM 29 YEARS OLD I HAVE BEEN LIVING AND GOING TO SCHOOL HERE SINCE I WAS 2.5 YEARSOLD.DURING AMNESTY I GOT AS FAR AS TEMPORARY RESIDENT AND DID NOT CONTINUE THE PROCESS.DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ABOUT WHAT I CAN DO NOW TO BECOME NATURALIZED BESIDES BEING MARRIED.I am currently trying to adjust my staus but I'm not sure WHAT MY CHANCES ARE. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELPFUL RESPONSES.

Dear Gina:

If you were here before January 1, 1972, you can qualify for registry. Otherwise, you will have to qualify just like anyone else. This would most likely be through a family petition or through labor certification. Good luck.
