I have to thank for the above advice today after going personaly to complain about the INS mistake they have issued another appointment for an interview. But I have another question. They request she takes any documents in connectionwith any entries into the United States. She has her passport but she stopped using it when she became a resident. and it was never stamped at the time of her permanent resident interview. Is this going to be a problem with her process? Any input will be appreciated.
Dear Albarose:
Thank you so much for your response. Her inteview is this Friday, I will let you know how it went.
I am dating a citizen of usa and he has filed for a fiance visa.My question is ,If we go ahead and get married before we have the visa, what type of problems would we incur. We want to be together as soon as possible as it costs a lot of money to be travelling back and fort visiting.
Dear Anonymous:
I am in the process of adjusting my status. My question is how can I travel to a third party country with a stamped passport or with a green card? Can I obtain an American passport only after filling for citizenship?

The fact that her passport was not stamped for permanent residence at the time of her interview should make no difference as she is a lawful permanent resident, and her resident card is the best evidence of this. Good luck.

If you marry before you obtain the fiancee visa and enter the US, then the petition will be automatically terminated and you will have to file for either a K-3 visa or a permanent immigrant visa.
