You will now have to wait until you are called for your interview. To see the approximate waiting time for your case, click on the link entitled "Local Office Processing Times" on our Home page.
You can also contact your local immigration office if you need more information about the processing of your case. Good luck.

On what basis did you obtain your work authorization? In other words, what type of application did you file in order to get your work permit?
When we get an answer, we can respond more completely. Good luck.

I am a resident in the UK and have been approved for an I-130 and have been informed by my brother in the US that provisions have been made for people like myself who have been approved to visit the states while waiting to receive my green card or till im called for interview.
In light of this i telephoned the Embassy only to find out that they themselves were not sure of the proceedings and said to me to just apply for a tourist visa instead.I have been approved, technically im a US citizen (i think ).Pls tell me what the case is exactly for situations like mine rather than me being turned down because the consular or myself dont have adequate knowledge of my rights or entitlements. Thanks
