Hi, Is it true that if you buy a house in the US outright, then you get some sort of visa, if this is true which visa is it, and is there a minimum price?

Just because you buy a house in the US does not entitle you to a visa. There is a visa known as an E-2, which gives you the right to temporarily remain and work in the US if you have invested a substantial sum of money in a business in the US. Yes, a foreign person has the right to buy a house in the US. You can either buy the house for cash, or you will have to qualify for credit just like anyone else. Good luck.
