-How can I procure the number for my local congressman/woman to check the status on the Naturalization application.
Your members of Congress addresses and telephone numbers can be found in your local telephone book as well as on the web. Have you tried calling INS yourself to find out the status of your case?
Where on the web can I find that info? That is which web site?
Go to any search engine and type in the name of your senators and congressmen, they all have their own web sites.

Thank you so much. That helps a lot. If I call upon my House of Rep. Do you think that they can help me find the status of my n-400 after the interview. I sent them the documents that they required and still have not heard back. Can my rep help me in that regard? And how long would "they" take?

You can find all of the telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of all senators and representatives by going to our Immigration Research page and clicking on "Congressional Sites". Good luck.

Your congressperson can contact INS on your behalf to help ascertain the status of your pending case. How long it takes depends on your congressperson and INS.
