Ciudad Juarez to Stop Processing Employment-Based Immigrant Visa Cases
From Third Country Nationals

The US State Department has advised that because it anticipates an increased workload in October from V visa and other immigrant cases, the US Consulate in Ciudad Juarez will no longer accept third country national immigrant visa cases from persons in the US who had requested processing based upon the lengthy delays in INS adjudication of their I-140 and adjustment cases.

This policy will be reconsidered if sufficient resources become available.
