Processing Times The following processing times are furnished by the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO). They are updated on an irregular basis, usually every 6 months. Processing times are measured from when the filing is received at the AAO from the service center or district office. Keep in mind that these are approximate times only, and individual cases may vary. If your fee receipt has a date that is more than 30 days beyond the stated processing time, you should consider contacting the AAO at the telephone number listed on the receipt. Also remember that these times apply only to cases filed with the AAO. These processing times do not apply to cases filed with Immigration Service Centers or local Immigration offices.
