Vermont Service Center Advises on National Interest Waiver Cases for Physicians

The Vermont Service Center (VSC) has issued the following instructions regarding National Interest Waiver (NIW) cases for physicians:

It appears that some individuals are submitting NIW physician cases to the VSC regardless of jurisdiction.  They appear to think that because all H-1C cases must be filed at the VSC, that all NIW physician cases must be filed there as well.  

However, that is not the case.  As a courtesy the NIW physician group will continue to work the "old" cases regardless of jurisdiction.  In the future, the VSC will be relocating those that are recently filed to the correct jurisdiction.
