There are various types of visitor visas available for a foreign national to enter the United States. The B-1 and B-2 visas are usually granted for the time requested or for six months at a time, and can be extended for an additional six months for up to a maximum of one year.
The Visa Waiver Program is only available to select participating countries, which allows foreign nationals of those countries to enter the United States for a maximum of 90 days. |
